Installazione
Aggiornamento
- Prima disattivate Google News Sitemap
- Rimuovete la cartella `google-news-sitemap`
Installazione
- Decomprimete il file `google-news-sitemap.zip`.
- Inviate la cartella `google-news-sitemap` nella vostra cartella dei plugin `wp-contents/plugins`.
Attivazione
- Nel vostro pannello admin di WordPress andate nella pagina dei Plugin
- Attivate il plugin Google News Sitemap e apparirà una sottopagina nel menu Opzioni.
Se riscontrate bug segnalatemeli.

@Andy I mean that is probably something related to file sitemap-news.xml cause in the first test the plugin creates the file, but then it cannot update it.

I have a sitemap-news.xml and it is writable. Added a new post and stil get the same error in admin. Here is the url http://www.jojoclub-afslanken.com/sitemap-news.xml.
Tried different paths at Sitemap path, but that didn’t work either.

By removing ./, the error stays in admin: Error: there is a problem with sitemap-news.xml. It doesn’t exist or is not writable. For help see the plugin’s homepage.

Thanks for the plugin, but it doesn`t work
I’ve installed the plugin through the admin-panel, activated & made the file 777 writeable. Then I’ve rebuild the Sitemap. But there is nothing in the xml-file! 
What should I do???

The plugin causes also an weird error when I save one post. It leaves a blank page… o_O

grazie per il plugin…l’ho installato ma quando vado a caricare la url della sitemap su google webmaster mi dice:
- Formato Sitemap non supportato
Per la Sitemap è stato utilizzato un formato Google News non più supportato per le Sitemap inviate di recente. Aggiorna la Sitemap al nuovo formato, aggiungendo inoltre un tag e altri tag pertinenti a ogni URL presente nella Sitemap
- Tag XML mancante
Questo tag obbligatorio risulta mancante. Aggiungilo e reinvia

@Francesco Di Cataldo la tua sitemap è vuota. Considera che nella sitemap per google news finiscono solo gli articoli scritti negli ultimi 2 giorni.
Appunto, mi sembra strano che non ci siano articoli in sitemap considerato che negli ultimi 2 giorni ne sono stati scritti una ventina circa..cosa può essere il problema?

@Francesco Di Cataldo la sitemap viene scritta perché il primo tag è presente ma non vengono pescati articoli quindi non dipende dai permessi. Che versione di wordpress usi ? Hai provato a fare rebuild manuale dalla pagina di amministrazione ?
Inoltre giusto per fartelo presente il tuo sito ha una struttura tale che non dovrebbe aver bisogno di questo plugin visto che hai un id univoco maggiore di 3 cifre per ogni articolo.
Si si, ho provato a fare un rebuild senza alcun risultato, la versione di WP è la 2.3.3 e purtroppo ho alcune difficoltà ad aggiornarla per via di alcune modifiche che abbiamo fatto ai sorgenti.

@Francesco Di Cataldo allora dipende dalla versione.
Non hai bisogno della sitemap per entrare in google news.
Fai semplicemente richiesta tramite l’apposito modulo e se il tuo sito verrà approvato le tue notizie saranno automaticamente prese da google senza bisogno di alcuna sitemap.
Ah ok, in effetti il sito è già presente in google news, ma nella giornata di ieri ho notato che i miei articoli non erano più presenti..in effetti oggi le news vengono rilevate su google news…mi sono accorto dopo l’obiezione che hai fatto

se hai messo ./sitemap hai probabilmente una cartella sitemap/ con dentro sitemap-news.xml altrimenti togli “sitemap” e lascia solo “./” e troverai la sitemap nella root del tuo host con il nome sitemap-news.xml

Allora mi sembra evidente che la sitemap non è stata creata oppure è altrove. Cosa hai messo nel path ?
ti dico cosa ho messo nelle configurazioni:
Spunta su crea nuova sitemap
Spunta su ‘Mostra genere, se possibile’
e Sitemap Path: ./
oltre che configurare nel pannello amministrativo, non c’è più niente da fare o sbaglio?

Ok Andrea allora la dovresti trovare in sitemap-news.xml. Prova a togliere la spunta da genres per vedere se è quello il problema.
Che versione hai di wordpress ?
