Aggiornamento
- Prima disattivate Google News Sitemap
- Rimuovete la cartella `google-news-sitemap`
Installazione
- Decomprimete il file `google-news-sitemap.zip`.
- Inviate la cartella `google-news-sitemap` nella vostra cartella dei plugin `wp-contents/plugins`.
Attivazione
- Nel vostro pannello admin di WordPress andate nella pagina dei Plugin
- Attivate il plugin Google News Sitemap e apparirà una sottopagina nel menu Opzioni.
Se riscontrate bug segnalatemeli.

Nel senso, il tuo genera comunque un file chiamato sitemap.xml giusto?

non c’è alcun conflitto perché il file generato si chiama sitemap-news.xml.

the sitemap is onhttp://www.capitaleritrea.com/sitemap-news.xml
Well Jason you don’t have articles or page in your sitemap and it means that in the latest 2 days you didn’t write so in the sitemap for google news your article are not included.
As google guidelines google news wants only news published in the last 2 days.
So try to add a new posts and resubmit.
Your sitemap is empty.

Esempio pratico.
Io qui bravibimbi.it/sitemap.xml ho la mia bella sitemap che invio a google regolarlmente e che lui sembra papparsi senza problemi.
Se aggiungo anche la tua bravibimbi.it/google-news.xml non sto semplicemente duplicando le informazioni con il rischio magari di essere penalizzato? Fondamentalmente, credo, i dati sono gli stessi. Mi sbaglio?

@riccardo le due sitemap non sono dei duplicati e non causano alcuna penalizzazione semplicemente perché la sitemap per google news è necessaria solo laddove tu abbia la necessità di essere incluso in “Google News” (spero tu sappia cosa sia) e le tue Url non rispettano le linee guida di “Google News”.
Di fatto dunque se il tuo sito non fa parte di google news perché non hai fatto richiesta allora ti potrà servire se vorrai fare richiesta mentre se non fa parte perché il tuo sito non è stato ritenuto idoneo allora puoi tranquillamente evitare di usare questo plugin.
Spero sia tutto chiaro.

I have removed the genres option! Now Webmaster Tools does not show an error anymore! So the error message is gone!
However, I hope my news will still appear in google news. Yesterday it worked with the genres error message!

earlier I could send to google news articles selectively.
If I had a number in the url then google news would pick up the article and if I did not have a number in the url it would not send it to google news. Now with you plugin I tried to continue filtering out news article for google news which I did not want to be seen on google news. I wrote them with out number in the url. However, now both news appear in google news the one with number and the one without numbers.
Can you pleas advice how to calibrate so that only wanted articles are send to google news.

Hi Jason! Actually the plugin doesn’t allow filtering of articles but if you are already in google news and you have 3 digit code in your article you definitely don’t need this plugin.
In the future I’m going to put this filtering options.

ciao Andrea grazie per la risposta, sei stato chiarissimo. Servirebbe pero’ (come e’ gia’ stato chiesto) un filtro per poter scegliere o quali post o quali categorie sottoporre a google news. basterebbe (mi rendo conto non sia semplice!) un Tick/Flag selezionabile al fianco del post lato admin.

The Problem is the Windows Live Writer. Titel Tags are not kombatibel..Have you a Idee

The file to check is sitemap-news.xml and not idemp-news.xml
The sitemap looks fine.

This is the Problme sorry. The Titel Tag have a Problem beccause i work with the Windows live writer.
Mmmm…very strange.
The title are grabbed in the database as regular post.
I’m going to do some tests because I’ve never used Windows Live Writer.

Great plugin, but there is a bug in the output that doesn’t properly encode special HTML characters. A quick fix is to change:
“.$post->post_title.”
to
“.htmlspecialchars($post->post_title).”
And that fixes the problem.
P.S. You could probably replace your custom apgnsm_escapexml function calls with htmlspecialchars() which is a built in PHP 4 and 5 feature that does this for you.
I was trying to say the bug is in the n:title tag generation on line 197 of version 1.0.2… but the comments here stripped out the XML tags.
@technabob Thanks for help. I’m going to release a new version with this fix in the post_title…so we will see if it fixes some problems.

So you don’t have to do nothing.
